The service centre of the KVK is a unique facility through which the farmers are being supplied with various kinds of agro inputs like improved seed, soluble fertilizers, biocontrol agents, botanical extracts,nursery plants, biofertilizers and mushroom spawn at reasonable prices.The farmers are not only getting these inputs for improving their crop productivity but the unit has also proved to be an income generating activity for the KVK. Folllowing inputs are available for the farmers of the nearby villages from the KVK :
1.Improved Seed as Groundnut var.TAG-124, Soybean var.MACS-124, Bengalgram var.Vijay and Vishal, Sugarcane var.Co-86032, Drumstick var.PKM-2.
2.Soluble Fertiliser Grades as 18-18-18, 0-52-34, 17-10-27, 13-0-45, 0-52-34 and 0-0-50.
3.Biocontrol Agents like predator/ parasites as Trichogramma, Chrysopa and Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus for Heliothis control, biofungicide as Trichoderma for control of soil borne diseases etc.
4.Botanical Extracts like Neem oil.
5.Nursery plants like fruit plants, ornamentals and flowers.
6.Biofertilisers such as Composting culture, Phosphate Solubilising Bacteria, Azotobacter, Rhizobium etc.
7.Mushroom Spawn
