OTHER PROJECTS DETAILS
Training and demonstrations were conducted on different non-chemical
ways like use of biopesticides, botanical extracts, pheromone traps in
cotton and pigeon pea at Dadh and Durgapur villages. Initially farmers
were undertaking sprays with chemical pesticides and spending huge amount
for pest management. But NPM techniques helped them in reducing their
expenditure on plant protection and the idea is spreading to the neighbouring
villages.
