The Krishi Vigyan kendra has started the Biological Control Agent Production Laboratory for mass multiplication of various pest predators and parasites that maintains the pest population levels below the threshold levels. Various biocontrol agents produced at the KVK lab include the following :

1.Trichogramma chilonis
2.Chrysoperla carnea
3.Trichoderma hergianum
4.Trichoderma viridae
5.Nuclear Polyhedrosis Virus (HaNPV)

The above bioagents are supplied for the farmers for release into the field and maintaining the pest population under control.
